Located in the Talassemtane National Park near Chefchaouen, Akchour offers some of northern Morocco's most spectacular hiking. Follow the river valley through lush gorges to the small cascade and continue to the grand waterfall, a 300-metre cascade tumbling through a forested canyon. Alternatively, take the trail to God's Bridge — a massive natural stone arch spanning a deep gorge, one of the largest natural bridges in the world. The area is rich with biodiversity, including the endangered Barbary macaque.
